Rick Beerhorst's music comes from a life fully lived. Scraping the bottom of the pan to feed six children on what money he makes as a visual artist/musician living in the midwest has given his music a hard bitten reality that feels more than real. The many years spent drawing and painting shows itself in his song writing steeped in vivid imagery and strong feeling.
