Presented in "round robin" fashion, 2 sets of 5 songwriter's will play one NEW and one TRADITIONAL song for the Winter Holiday season. As a part of the songwriting assignment each Artist has been asked to convey movement and energy; to add uplift for these difficult times. The AWT Concert will benefit community radio station WYCE 88.1 FM. A Silent Auction of donated items will also be part of the fundraising. CD's by present and past artists will be available for immediate cash purchase and a voucher will be available to purchase a DVD of the show (to be mailed within the following two weeks). Selected songs from past "A Winter's Tune" shows are available now, with more to be added, at Octoberday.com. A portion of all AWT downloads will be donated to WYCE as well. Members of the Community Media Center will also be able to purchase beer, wine and mixed drinks at the Concession Stand during the show and intermission. Memberships are available for purchase on site. And following the concert join the Artists and other audience members for an Afterglow Party - location to be announced here shortly - admission with concert ticket.
