Hi, I'm Pow Navarro, I was born and raised in the Philippines. I first got into playing the guitar when I was 12 years old and haven't stopped playing it since. Back then, I was most influenced by the music of local Filipino artists such as Gary Granada and the Eraserheads but American music also made its way to my ears, particularly that of James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, and John Denver.

In high school, I got into a rock band that did cover tunes of Smashing Pumpkins and Bush among others. But because of the lack of free time and money, we weren't able to rock out as much as we wanted.

After high school, I joined an R&B/Hip-Hop group that was headed by Vince Alaras of Southborder. It is this group (called Into Deep) that taught me how to sing and, more importantly, how to perform.

I moved to the U.S. July of 2001 and have since written many songs and sung at several different venues in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I am now based.
