Karisa Wilson is a multi-talented artist from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Guitarist and classically trained violinist, her skills have lead her to collaborate with several local and regional artists representing several musical genres. Karisa currently sings and plays fiddle with the all female old timey/bluegrass string band Nobody's Darlin', sings with rock band The Rockit King, as well as performs her original tunes as a soloist or with accompaniment from such talented artist as Mike Sullivan (Potato Moon). Featured in several media including the Grand Rapids Press, The Graphic (Northern Michigan), 88.1 WYCE and TV stations GRTV and Channel 13, Karisa has been hailed as on the most gifted vocalists in the area. For the past three years Karisa has regularly hosted the Thursday night Open Mic at Rocky's in downtown Grand Rapids. She also contributes as the hip-hop columnist for the Recoil, a regional, monthly music and entertainment magazine. Karisa's soulful vocals and folk/jazz/r&b sound is uniquely refreshing and appeals to a variety of music aficionados.
