Starting this week we are loading up the publicity van for AWT2008 (<--to use that modern way of smashing everything down into a convenient abrv...., in this case for "A Winter's Tune 2008")

If you would, PLEASE CHECK your AWT2008 Artist Bio & Photo (carried over from a past year or grabbed from your website) at AWintersTune.com/Artists/ArtistBios.htm.

If what you read is not what you would like said about you, please email a short bio (1-3 paragraphs). This will go on the website, in the program and other print or radio promotion.

Please send a preferred image - hi-resolution .JPG image for print media. We can can crop and bit-reduce it for the web.

WYCE has a couple adverts being produced in local papers so IF WE COULD GET THE PHOTO (and updated, if needed, promo blarney) BY THIS SUNDAY, Nov 9 it would be grand. (We would like to use a YOU that you would like seen.)

Attach the promo picture to your reply (or send me a link where I can
download it). You can include the bio bit right in the body of the email
(plain text works best for our needs).

Hope your assignment has crossed your mind by this time.... Perhaps the upcoming weekend will inspire thoughts of Winter...

As you are playing with your NEW song please keep in mind our "over-arching" theme of "Songs of Hope and Joy". WE HOPE that each of you will offer some INSPIRING songs for hard times.

* can be a Christmas song" OR about winter in general
* Bonus Points Awarded (well, karmically at least)
for setting your song in our lovely wintry state of Michigan.
* be related to feelings from the past holiday winter experiences
or something present or hopes for the future
* If the audience can sing along on your chorus, they would love it!
